Our approach to wedding photography can most accurately be described as photojournalistic.  Kurt’s extensive background in outdoor photography has helped him develop a keen eye for natural light and strong compositions.  His experience as a photojournalist/editorial photographer has helped hone his ability to anticipate and capture decisive moments.  He applies these same concepts to each of the weddings he shoots, allowing him to capture timeless images, both in color as well as black and white that portray the dynamic light, emotion and personality of everyone involved.  Throughout the day whether it’s documenting the pre-ceremony preparations, the ceremony itself or at the reception, Kurt strives to capture moments of humor, tenderness and love in a natural and unobtrusive manner.
